Keeping your weight under control is always recommended. But in today’s hectic lifestyle we often run out of time to cook or skip yoga class. Following heavy workout routine or crash diet is surely not my idea of losing weight in a healthy way.
Here is a recipe i came across internet and added to my daily diet which is not only healthy and filling but also takes just 15-20 min to prepare.
I would prepare this stew every morning for breakfast and also carry to work for lunch.
It helped me in so many ways:
- Loose weight
- No bloating or burning
- Keeps me hydrated
- Easily digested
- Helps to detoxify
Ingredients:
Onion – Contains quercetin which boost your metabolism
Tomato – Reduce inflammation and water retention in the body
Cabbage – Helps in detoxification
Capsicum – Regularize blood sugar level
Carrot – High fibre & low glycemic index
Black Pepper – Increase bio-availability of ingredients
Recipe:
- Start with chopping all the ingredients in small cubes
- Place a cooker on a stove in low flame with 2-3 tbsp water
- Add chopped onion and saute for 1 min
- Add cabbage, carrot, capsicum & tomato
- Sprinkle rocksalt & black pepper as per taste
- Add 3 cup water Cook in low flame for 15 min
- Serve in a bowl with 1/2 tsp lemon juice
Note:
- Use fresh ingredients
- Maintain the vegetable ratio
- Cook only in low flame
- Do not add oil & white salt
- Can be consumed any time of the day
- No side effect unless you are allergic to any ingredient
