We will melt our ingredient one by one in the double boiler (glass bowl placed above the saucepan). Start with beeswax and then add coconut oil. Add cocoa butter towards the end. Cut open the vitamin capsule and squeeze the liquid in the mixture along with the peppermint essential oil after adding cocoa butter. Mix well and get the container off the gas. Make sure after adding cocoa butter, you do not heat the mixture for long. Peppermint essential oil quantity can vary depending on your preference.

Use less coconut oil if you want the balm to be stiff like chap-stick and vice-verse.
Pour the mixture in an air tight glass container, do not cover the lid and let it dry for 1 hour.
And yes there you go…. all set to start using your home made minty cocoa lip balm.
