AVOID GETTING A HANGOVER?

  • Gulp a spoon of olive or coconut oil before drinking [Greasing your intestines makes it longer for alcohol to absorb]
  • Drink within limits
  • Avoid drinking in empty stomach
  • Dilute your drink with water, no more soda and shots please
  • Drink plenty of water before calling it a night
  • Have a minimum of 52 hours of gap in your drinking sessions

Rehydrate

Drink lots of water the next morning as soon as you get up. Hangovers happen because your body is too dehydrated and water is ultimately the best solution.

Painkillers

First fix your headache o think straight, take a painkiller which can help with headache and cramps.

Soup

Sip on some thin vegetable based broth for breakfast. This will restore your vitamin and go easy on your stomach.

Bananas and Kiwis

You lose potassium when you drink because of the diuretic effect of alcohol. Include Bananas and Kiwi in your next morning diet to balance the potassium level.

Ginger

Keep a ginger handy while drinking and post drinking. Keep nibbling once in a while to avoid getting nauseating and vomiting.

Eggs Smoothie

Recipe – 2 raw egg yolks, cup of beetroot juice, ½ tsp grated ginger

Blend well and drink

Cucumber

Recipe – A cup of hot water, 1 cucumber, 1 tsp lemon, ½ tsp salt

Blend well and drink
