Monsoon Hacks!!!

Well as a surprise this time rains started way too early.

Before its too late lets all prep for monsoon with these easy to go carry monsoon hacks.

Stinky Shoes: 

Once you are back home completely drenched, remove your shoes and make sure to stuff it completely with tissue paper or newspaper so that it soaks all the water leaving your shoes dry. Add a pinch of any essence oil for fragrance.

Wet gadget:

If any electronic gadget gets wet – wipe them with towel and place them in rice containers for 2-3 days. The rice will soak up all the moisture and then restore your phone.

Cloth Shoes:

For those converse or loafers, rub them with wax (bees wax or crayons) to make them water proof.

Foot care

Fungal infections of the nails and toes are common during the rainy season, hence keep them as dry and clean as possible. Monthly pedicure or just exfoliate with coffee scrub and keep them moisturized.

Enhance your Skin
Keep your skin healthy, eat good, and drink plenty of WATER. If you have dry skin, use a cream-based cleanser to keep it moist, for oily skin, go for soap less gel cleanser that will cleanse and purify the skin while balancing its pH. Go herbal and less chemicals.

No Eye Makeup
Keep no to minimal eye makeup in this season. Go natural and flaunt your inner eye beauty. If necessary just apply waterproof eye liner or mascara.

Soak up the sun

Use water resistant and oil free sunscreen to protect your skin.

Play with colors in contrast with your skin tone. Bright lip colors, aqua colors, bright pinks and greens will do their magic.

Daily Check-in:

  1. Umbrella
  2. Plastic zip lock pouch
  3. Go for rubber flip flops and floaters
  4. Get enough ventilation to your room to avoid that stink
  5. Camphor balls or Neem leaves on hide out places
